End of the Summer BBQ

At the end of August my sister, Kara, and her husband, Steve, had an end of summer BBQ.

The pool was filled up when we got there, so Dane swam a little bit.  He had to borrow Claire's pink waterwings.

Reese hung out in his stroller by my Grandma for a bit.

Once Dane was finished swimming he walked all over the backyard with Claire's bubble mower.

The guys played washers and Dane thought he was big enough to play with them.

Another family brought this little baby yard for their one and a half year old.  They invited Reese to play in it as well.

After we had dinner the kids busted a pinata!

Dane is all about baseball, so he loved using the bat to hit it.

The kids enjoying a popsicle before we headed home.

And now I think I am all caught up from summer!

Labor Day Weekend

Our Labor Day weekend is always full of time with family.
Saturday before Labor Day we always gather at our house with my Mom, Dad, Grandma, and my siblings and their kids.  For some reason I didn't take any pictures during the day, but it was spent with the guys watching football, the girls hanging out on the patio, and the kids running around having a blast.

After dinner we decided to head up to the playground.  I drove my mom, grandma, and Reese while Amy walked with Trey, Delaney, and Dane.
Reese loves the swings.

Dane loved having Trey there.

Dane really wanted Reese to go down the slide with him.

We had a great day and Dane is always beyond excited when his cousins come to play.

On Monday, Labor Day, we went to Kirkwood for our annual BBQ at Mama and Papa's house.

Whenever I put Reese next to Dane for a picture Dane always puts his arm around him and gives him a kiss.

Cute little boys!

Dane decided he had to take his scooter with him to show Mama and Papa.

He looks so big to me when he rides on it.

While Dane played on his scooter Reese hung out on the deck in his exersaucer.

He would play with his toys for a while.

He also loved to watch Dane play.

Trey helped Dane practice riding his bike.

After dinner we had ice cream sundaes for dessert.
Laney fed Reese ice cream.

He loved it!

These two had a blast putting their toppings on their ice cream.

To end the night Trey took a little wagon ride with Reese.

We had a fun weekend and the boys were exhausted from all of the fun with their cousins!
