Playing in the dirt at Mama and Papa's house
 Having ice cream

 Manners flower from daycare

Dane wanted his picture taken before Super Hero Day at preschool.  He also wanted to hold the sign.  This photo session wasn't planned and made us a little late, but he was so excited!
 The Batman Cape
Reese needed his picture taken also
Dane's teachers text me pictures during the day.
The preschoolers dressed up as superheros.
Dane and his best buddies at preschool
Doing some painting during Reese's naptime.

We are enjoying a three day weekend with family.  Dane is so excited for several days with his cousins.  Next week Dave goes to dayshift and the boys and I are both so excited!

Our Weekend

Friday afternoon right after school we went to my parent's house for dinner to celebrate Taylor's 18th birthday!  The weather was so nice that my mom decorated outside and we spent most of the evening outside.

Baby Trey and Reese going for a wagon ride.
Claire and Dane on their wagon ride.
 Eating dinner outside
Tay opened presents and got a lot of gift cards to do some shopping with.  She got a purse she has been wanting from her mom and dad.
 Ready for cake!
 18 candles!
 The cousins singing Happy Birthday!
 Cold Stone Creamery Cake....so good!
Saturday we ran some errands and stopped by Chill for some ice cream.
The owner also made the boys dogs out of balloons.
 Reese loved his Chill!
This morning we got up and headed to the park after breakfast.

Reese always came down the slide on his stomach.
I tried to help Reese climb this ladder, but he kept pushing me away.
He climbed right up by himself.

 Swinging!

 Balancing

Tonight we had dinner on the patio.  We tried to stay out and play, but the mosquitoes were really bad tonight.
We came inside and played with playdoh.

Ready for baths, bed, and a full week of school!

First Day of School

Sunday after a wonderful weekend with my boys we prepared to head out Monday for the first day of the school year.  Dane started preschool, Reese started back to Tracey's full time, and I had my first day of all district teachers meetings.  My first day with students is Friday.

Mama and Papa gave Dane a little preschool present, a book, "The Night Before Preschool".  Daddy read it to him before bed.
We made his preschool sign and he was getting so excited.
He couldn't decide which backpack to take.  He hung them all up and ended up taking the firetruck backpack on his first day.
Dave and my boys gave me a dozen roses for my first day back.
My boys do not like mornings, but Monday was a different story.  This boy was up and ready to go.
He wanted his picture taken with Daddy.

A picture with Mommy.
 So excited!
This boy was definitely NOT ready to get up early and head out.
We were on our way!  This year I have to make two stops before I get to work.  When we pulled up at daycare Dane said, "See you later Reese.  Mom, can you hurry?"
When I dropped Dane off I got the biggest hug and kiss, and then he just turned around and went off to play.
The majority of the kids that go to this daycare are teachers' kids.  When I picked him up it was neat to hear him talk about his friends and know who they were.

Dane talked the whole way home about his day.  He gave me his daily report.
I have an app on my phone that I use to take pictures of anything he brings home and I can make it into a book at the end of the year.  When I take the picture it dates it.  I keep the things that are extra special, but I realized after only three days that there is no way I can keep everything.

After three days of meetings and Open House last night, I am off today.  Tomorrow is our first day of school.  Ready for a busy, fun year!
