October Fun

October was a busy month.  We planned a lot of activities with family.  Life has been hard lately, but we always feel better when we are all together.

Dane saw caramel apples at the store and picked out one with sprinkles for his snack one evening.
A walk around Kirkwood one beautiful fall morning.  We stopped by the Kirkwood Farmers Market for a bit to let Dane and Claire ride the tractors.
Dane running with his best buddy, Trey, at the Des Pres Fall Festival.
I can't believe Reese is getting so big!
Ready for a wagon ride at the Fall Festival
Listening to music and having snacks...
Almost time for the outdoor movie to start
Dane was excited to watch the movie with his cousins.
Dane got ready for Star of the Week at preschool.
He made a poster, took his favorite book, toy, and snack.
The beautiful sunrise we saw on the way to school.
Dane said, "Papa and the angels made this for us!"

Pumpkin Beer on some cool Fall nights!
The beautiful view of the tree at my dad's cemetery.
After a long, stressful week Taylor watched the boys for a few hours so I could have lunch and an afternoon with my mom and sisters.

The sign a sweet friend held at the Cardinals World Series Game.

The beautiful fall trees in our neighborhood.

 Two crazy boys!
A sweet little one having the rare treat of Fruit Loops in the morning.
 Haircuts for both little guys!

Halloween

Halloween was a fun day for our family.
Reese's daycare Halloween Party was earlier in the week so he spent the day with Daddy.

This year Ste Gen had a home football game on Halloween so a lot of our friends were planning to go to the game instead of Trick or Treating.  We decided to go up to Kirkwood to Trick or Treat with cousins.

My mom had a big Halloween dinner for us when we got there.  The kids then got dressed and we got ready to head out.

Our family before heading out to Trick or Treat.
It rained for a bit at the beginning.

After a little bit Dave took Reese back to my mom's house and Dane and I went on trick or treating with my mom, sisters, and their kids.  Dane absolutely loved it this year!  He had a great time saying Trick or Treat as soon as the door opened!

Lake Forest Halloween Party

Last Saturday was our neighborhood Halloween Party.

I was in charge of it, Dave was out of town, THANK GOODNESS for my mom!
These pictures are kind of scattered.  I would watch the boys play a game, run and check on chili or hot dogs, come back and watch them play another game.

Reese just kind of hung out.
He played some games, but also spent a lot of time just walking around.

We had a good group this year.  A lot of the kids are getting to the age that they love the games.

Dane loved everything about the party...the games, wearing his costume, eating.....

When Reese played his game he kept throwing the beanbags right at our friend, Troy.
