Critter Lane Petting Zoo

Last Tuesday was our last day of Easter Break.  We got up early and went out for breakfast.  We had a surprise at breakfast.  We were eating and the boys had a lot of energy so I was trying to keep them eating without being too wild.  Both of the boys got waffles and when they brought them out they had smiley faces on them with cool whip.  They didn't like that so I was trying to scrap it off so they would eat them.  At one point I turned around to the lady sitting at the booth behind us and apologized.  She was very nice and said that she had 4 kids of her own so she understood.  We finished eating and headed out.  I took the boys and started to walk out with them and Dave went to the counter to pay.  When Dave came out he said that the lady that had been sitting at the table behind us left us a note about our sweet family and paid for our meal.  Such a nice surprise to start our day!

We then headed to Critter Lane Petting Zoo.

The boys and Dave fed the birds as soon as we got there.

 Feeding the deer

We walked down to look at the camels and the boys decided that they wanted to go for a camel ride.

 They both loved it!
Dave and the boys went into the goat area.

The goats were really hungry and were all over the boys and Dave trying to get food.
There were two tiny goats that we looked at also.

 Dane loved the kangaroos.

I think the boys could have stayed there all day just feeding the animals.

 My boys and I

It was a beautiful day and a great way to spend our last day off together.
22 more days of school until summer vacation!

Easter Sunday

Lots of Easter Baskets ready!
We woke up Easter morning at my mom's house.
The boys were so excited when they came downstairs and found their baskets.
Dane was so excited when he found a golden egg with a special treat inside it!
Reese was so excited about the candy!
We got ready for church and had some time for pictures before hand.
Reese and that smile...
 Sweet boys holding hands...

We went to church and afterwards everyone came back to my mom's house for brunch.

The Frost Family
 The Knoll Family
 Mama and the grandkids
Dane and Reese were just as excited to get their baskets a second time when their cousins got theirs.

Dane was about done with pictures.
We had brunch and hung out, then we headed over to my Grandma's house for Easter Dinner.

We had a long, busy day.  The boys had so much fun, but they were exhausted.

They went to bed early and woke up to another basket that was delivered from our house.

A great Easter!
