Halloween

Since Halloween was on a Friday this year we decided to go to Kirkwood for Halloween with the boy's cousins.  My mom always has a delicious Halloween Dinner, so we ate first and then got the boys in their costumes.

The kids were done with pictures and ready to go trick or treating.  It was chilly, but the kids were having a blast.  We were out for an hour and they had such a good time.

More Fall Fun

I have been so busy and I am so behind with blogging.  Figured I better get caught up because we have a lot of fun coming up in the next month and I will get even further behind.

The Dierbergs in Kirkwood had a Halloween Fun Day for kids and since we were in Kirkwood we took the boys.
They were excited to wear their costumes for the first time.

Both of the boys decided to get a dragon painted on their face.

After the fall festival we all went to lunch in downtown Kirkwood and then to the Farmers Market.

The kids played in the fort and rode tractors.

Fall Zoo Trip

October 24th I was off school for Parent Teacher Conferences so we took a family trip to the zoo.  The weather was perfect.

It was neat because the zoo was decorated for Halloween.
The boys loved that!

We rode the carousel like was always do during our visit.

We rode the train and went through the Snake House, which we have never been through before.

It was neat to go to the zoo during a different time of year.

Reese's 3rd Birthday

Reese turned 3 on Friday, October 17th.
He spent the day with Daddy for his three year old checkup, and flu shot, then they met Mama and Aunt Katie at Fitz's for lunch.

We celebrated big on Saturday with family.
Reese is ALL boy and decided early he wanted a football birthday party.

He was excited to see his cousins.
Lunch on the patio

 So excited for cake time!

Ste Genevieve Homecoming

Friday was Ste Gen's Homecoming.  We love living in Ste Gen and being part of all of the traditions.
Friday was Green and White Day at school so we all wore our Ste Gen Dragon shirts.
 My Future Ste Gen Dragons!
It rained all day, but we still got the parade in.  Dave and Reese watched the parade with our friends Grace and Doug.

Reese loves a parade, especially with firetrucks and floats.

I went to Dane's preschool afterschool and we got ready for the parade.
His teacher, Miss Chelsea, is student teaching this semester so she hasn't been at preschool.  Dane was so excited when he saw her come in to ride the float with them.
Ready for the parade to begin.

Dane loves all of his preschool teachers.
It was misting during most of the parade, but we had a lot of fun.
Dane was especially excited to see Daddy and Reese.

When we got done we were wet and cold.
 Our matching Leap Ahead shirts
We all snuggled in our pjs early Friday night and had homemade pizza.
Daddy went to the Ste Gen Bakery and got us special treats for dessert.
