Lake Forest Easter Egg

Last Saturday we had our Lake Forest Easter Egg Hunt.  I figured I bet get the pictures up before all of our Easter Celebrations this weekend!

Right when the Easter Bunny came in Reese was infatuated by him.  He just kept walking right up to him and looking at him.

Somehow I got in the pictures with the boys.

I was happy that even though it was cool outside, it wasn't raining so we got to have the egg hunt outside.

Dave went around with Reese to get his eggs.

My Mom, Dad, Aunt Kara, and Claire also came down for the Egg Hunt.

Dane was happy to hang out with our neighbor, Lauren.

Dane was excited when he found all of the eggs on his list.

Reese took off to the playground to play, but then found some more eggs.

After the egg hunt we went inside for donuts and juice.

We dyed Easter Eggs last night with my Grandma, Mom, sisters, and nieces, and nephew.  Tomorrow we are leaving bright and early for a weekend full of Easter Fun.  We can't wait!

Baseball Time

The Ste. Genevieve Community Center offered a Start Smart Baseball program for 3 year old boys and their dads.  It is an hour class at the community center on Monday nights for the next 6 weeks.  We signed Dane up for it in February and everyday since then he has talked about baseball.

Monday night was the first night and Dave and Dane headed out for practice.

Daddy and Dane getting ready to leave.

Dave took a picture and sent it to me.

When Dane got home he told me all about how special it was.  He kept saying they got special baseballs, a special bat, and a special book.  Notice that he was so excited he couldn't keep the bat still while I took his picture.  He kept swinging it!

He keeps asking me if I can come watch him play next week.  I can't wait!

St. Patrick's Weekend

Last Friday I was off school because of Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday.  It happened to be a beautiful day and we spent some time outside playing.

Dane loves to be outside and he especially loved that he didn't have to wear a jacket and got to wear his sunglasses.

We went down to the Marina to ride bikes.

Reese ran around with his lawnmower for a little bit.

Saturday we went to Kirkwood.  We spent the day playing at my parent's house.  Saturday evening Aunt Amy watched the boys while Dave and I went to dinner.  Dane was so excited when Aunt Amy brought up the costumes.  A Red Power Ranger is his favorite!

We spent the night Saturday night.  Sunday it was so rainy out and very cold.  My friend from high school came over to my parent's house to visit and we just hung out.

Sunday evening we had St. Patrick's Day dinner at my mom and dad's house.

Dane was very excited to see that a leprechaun came and took a bath at Mama and Papa's house Saturday night.  He left green water.

Reese loved playing in the living room and greeting everyone as they came in.

The boys all dressed in green.

Mama and her grandchildren in all their green!

Reese must have been worn out from the weekend.  He was at daycare on Monday and Tracey sent me this picture.  He was playing with the stool and next thing she knew he was sound asleep!

Saturday we spent the day at home and Grandma and Grandpa Evelsizer came to visit.  We had lunch and then it was so nice we played outside for a little bit.  Dane rode his bike and then played a little baseball.

Today we went to get haircuts and shopping at Sams and Target.

 Holding hands in the car

After we got haircuts we went to eat.  Dane did not really want his picture taken.
He told me he just wanted to eat his Fish Bites.

Little Reese and his new haircut.

The shopping trip wore these two out!

We came home and relaxed and played for the rest of the rainy day.
