Apple Picking

Last weekend we took the boys apple picking at Eckerts.  We met my mom for lunch and then we all headed over to Belleville.

The boys were excited to ride the tractor and go to the orchard.

 There were a lot of apples down low so the boys could easily pick them.

 They definitely enjoyed tasting the apples.

 We picked ALOT and then got ready to head back.

 The boys were excited to find another cake to get their picture taken with.

 We stopped at the custard shop for ice cream.

 Reese loved his ice cream and didn't care at all that he was a mess!

 We were heading to the car when the boys saw this train.  Dave and the boys took a quick ride and we headed out.

This week the boys and I have made baked apples, apple chips, and apple pie!

Wow, Where Did September Go?

September seems to have flown by!  We did a lot and had a lot of fun.

We went to Kirkwood for the Greentree Parade and Festival.  We had donuts while we waited for the parade to start.

After the parade we went to the park to have lunch, visit the kids area, and look at the crafts.

 We made a big family trip to Target.  Aunt Tammy was lucky enough to have both boys shopping with her.

 We got pizza for dinner and then had a fire in the firepit and made s'mores.
