Our Fun Saturday!

All last week I prayed that we would all recover in time for the weekend because we had fun plans I would have hated to miss.  Thank goodness we were all well and were able to have a fantastic weekend!

Saturday I met my mom and my sisters for our "Girls Pinterest Day!"  We started the day off making panini's for lunch.  They were absolutely delicious!

After lunch we started on our projects.  Everyone had a different project to work on this time.

Katie did some painting.

Amy spray painted some wooden initials.

Tammy made a sign.

Mom also brought her initials.

I worked on a rag wreath.

We had a fun girls day!  We do a lot as a family, but it is especially fun for all of us girls to get together and hang out and talk.  Can't wait until our next event!

After Girls Day the kids took naps and we got ready for the Cousins Valentine Party at my mom and dad's house Saturday evening.

Heart shaped pretzels...

So excited for the party to begin....

Before dinner we did a little project...

Dane....

Reese.....

Dane's project all finished.

Reese's project

Valentine gifts...

Papa made heart shaped pizzas for dinner.

After dinner we decorated sugar cookies.

Joe ate his right up!

The kids handed out Valentines to each other and laid down to watch a movie.
Such a fun, fun night!

Finally Feeling Better!

This is usually life with Reese...

He pushes my trash can through the kitchen...
Throws sippy cups, toys, shoes inside.

Then he gives me a big smile and acts like he did the best thing ever!
He LOVES his food and will eat pretty much anything!
So after a rough day Friday and not feeling the best we waited to see how he would feel on Saturday.
It was not good!
Our little man was so sick.

He took many, many baths.  I did a lot of laundry.  He took long, long naps.
He drank a lot of Pedialyte.

Sunday he seemed a little better and so for lunch he drank Pedialyte and ate a cracker, but it was too soon and little man was sick again.

But today was a different story....it was 60 degrees out and he was so happy that we decided to head outside for a little bit.

We took a walk out back and I showed Dane the house that some of our best friends are moving into.  We can see it from our backyard!  So excited!

One more day at home tomorrow.....just to make sure.
