Trip to the Zoo

Since we have a Zoo Membership we take several trips to the Zoo each year. The boys and I have been a couple of times this summer, but we went again when Dave was on vacation so he could go with us. It was a great day and the weather was great for July.

Since the weather was cooler we saw lots of animals.

Dane's Birthday Continues

Dave and I had a wedding to attend last Saturday night so after Dane's birthday party the boys left with my mom to spend the night in St. Louis.

In the evening all of the cousins went to Aunt Katie and Uncle Tom's house for a camp out in the backyard. I borrowed these pictures from Katie.

Monday was Dane's actual birthday and he woke up to a chocolate long john with sprinkles!

We had a fun day planned but we first had to make a stop to get Reese's hair cut.

We then headed to Incredible Pizza. Dane was so excited! He invited Trey to come celebrate with him.

Incredible Pizza might be one of my least favorite places to go, but Dane had such a great time.

Monday night Dave and the boys headed home and I stayed another night in Kirkwood. Tuesday morning my mom, Amy, Katie, and I went down to the Lake of the Ozarks for the day to have lunch and shop with my sister, Tammy.

Dane woke up asking to build the lego sets he got for his birthday.
