Purple Stride Pancreatic Cancer Walk

My dad's battle with Pancreatic Cancer was very short.  My family learned very quickly what a devastating cancer it is.  Within the first few days after my dad passing away we decided we wanted to join in the fight against Pancreatic Cancer.  Amazingly enough St. Louis was getting ready to host the Purple Stride Pancreatic Cancer Walk.  We decided to participate.
Since we decided to join in so late we all joined as individuals.  We already have plans to have a team next year.  Most of us didn't start a fundraising page because of the short amount of time that we had until the walk.  My brother did and he raised over $1,300!

There were some activities for the kids.
Reese got a Purple Frog made out of balloons.

Me with two boys that didn't want their picture taken
Dane showing off the bracelet that Delaney made everyone.
We had our signs on our stroller and on our backs and we were ready to walk.

Next year we plan to have an even bigger team and raise even more money!
