Our Week

We are so happy that the days are getting a little warmer and brighter!

Dane and Dave started out their week at Baseball.

He carries all of his baseball equipment in his bag with the football on it!

He is always so excited that he acts crazy during picture time.

Reese is doing so much better with his spoon and fork, but pasta is still a bit messy!

These last few weeks have been crazy so I haven't been able to plan any meals.
Trying to keep these two entertained and safe while I cook is hard.
Sometimes we have to get the bowls and spoons out to play with so I can actually get dinner made.

Reese, as usual, climbing over or under whatever he can.

I asked Dane to play with Reese while I went to the bathroom.  I came back to this.

One of Reese's newest, favorite activities....
He can't quite see in the drawers, but he reaches in, feels around...

Pulls out whatever he can grab and then throws it on the ground.

Friday night I had a very much needed Girls Night Out!
I enjoyed happy hour with my friends before heading to a painting class at a local winery.

I was so nervous about painting that I forgot to take pictures until I was about half way finished.

Here we all are with our finished products.
It was so fun and the artist made it very easy.
I can't believe I actually did it.

It looked good enough, at least to Dave and I, to hang up in our dinning room.

Time outside on the beautiful weekend.

While Reese napped on Saturday afternoon Dane and I made a "How Many Days Until Schools Out For Summer" chain.  We are going to tear a link off every morning before we leave for school.

This little guy has been so funny lately.
He will get his blanket and sit in his rocking chair when he is ready to go to bed.

Dane loves this little stump in the trees.

Worn out from the weekend!

Easter 2013

We woke up Easter morning at Mama and Papa's house.  The boys were so excited when they got downstairs and saw of the Easter baskets.

Reese must take after his mommy...he started grabbing Reeses Peanut Butter Cups.

He was very excited to find a Power Rangers Movie in his basket.

We were able to capture a family picture!

We enjoyed a delicious Easter Brunch.

After brunch we headed over to my grandma's house to spend the day.
After cold, rainy days, it was absolutely beautiful on Easter so we spent a good part of the day outside.

It was so nice in fact that the guys fixed up a TV outside to watch basketball games.

As usual my grandma made a delicious meal and handed out Easter Baskets to every.single.person.
She amazes me!
We had a great day!

We got home late Sunday night and both boys were asleep.
When we got up Monday morning the boys found their Easter Baskets.

Dane was checking them out.

For some reason he felt the need to protect them from Reese.

Both boys loved their toys and their swim trucks and swim shirts!

A great weekend celebrating Easter with family!

Our Perfect Easter Picture

At least a month ago we picked out Easter outfits for the boys.  Cute, little matching outfits because I know I don't have much longer to do this with them.  Seersucker pants and pink polos....too cute!  I also realized I have a total boy on my hands and he thought he was doing me a HUGE favor to wear a pink shirt.  He asked several times on Saturday if he had to wear his pink shirt yet and as I got him dressed on Sunday he asked often if he only had to wear that shirt today, since it was Easter, and when Easter was over he didn't have to wear it anymore.

Sunday morning I decided to go out and get a picture of them before everyone got to my mom and dad's house for brunch.  I thought there would be fewer distractions.

I am working to edit the pictures from the rest of our WONDERFUL EASTER, but I thought I would share a few of my sweet boys!

Reese decides to check out his basket....

Dane notices Reese isn't looking so he starts to check out his basket as well...

As I am calling both of their names Dane decides to look at me....Reese's basket has fallen over now, so he is distracted by that...

Dane was trying to obey, but not really into the photo shoot

Dane decides to watch Reese for a bit...

I finally see Reese's face and Dane looks down....

 They change positions...............

Reese realizes he can see himself in the door.

 Kind of holding hands...

Dane decides to try to help Reese out.......

Reese decides he is done.......

Seriously....exhausting!!
