Labor Day BBQ at Mama and Papa's

We headed up to St. Louis as soon as Dave got home from work this morning. Claire had spent the night at Mama and Papa's house so she was still there and very excited to see Dane. They played a bit and had a morning snack together.

It was so nice out today. The guys spent a lot of time watching college football and the girls spent a lot of time on the deck talking and watching the kids play.

We spent a lot of time being customers at Delaney's and Trey's restaurant.

The kids gathered around for dinner.

Dane loved his dinner of pork steak, potatoes, corn, and deviled eggs!

Daddy said he ate all of it!

He also enjoyed a bowl of ice cream with Mama for dessert.

He tried really hard to stand up on it,

but I was able to stop that everytime he tried.

We had such a nice day with our family. We are hoping it stays nice for a bit longer so we can hopefully enjoy some more time outside. Dane is really starting to take off and try lots of things when we are outside playing. He loves to be outside! Thank goodness for Benedryl when we come inside!
