Our Family Christmas

Santa came to our house on Saturday night, the 22nd.  Before Dane went to bed he sprinkled out the reindeer food on the patio.

He was very excited about it and very serious in making sure he had it all sprinkled out.

Reese pretty much ran around like we were outside to play.  Dane tried to tell him to look for Rudolph in the sky, but he didn't care.

When we went inside we put out cookies for Santa.  Dane wanted to put out every single one he had decorated.

I tried to get a picture of the boys with Santa's cookies, but Reese really just wanted one for himself.

Reese went to bed and Dave and Dane decided to watch a Christmas show before bed.  They didn't make it long.

Santa came and filled the stockings
(Reese really does have stuff in his stocking, it just wasn't as big as Dane's things so it didn't stick out as much).

Santa left the boys their traditional three gifts each.

Reese actually woke up first on Sunday morning and he hung out in bed with us until Dane got up.
Dane asked right away if Santa came.  He isn't at the point yet that he goes out into the living room without us in the morning.  He wasn't happy that I asked him to stop for a picture in the hallway.

Dane was excited to see that Santa came.

He finally went around to the other side of the tree and saw that Santa left him his bike, or motorcycle as he calls it.

Before we started opening gifts he check out the cookie plate to see if Santa ate his cookies and drank his milk.

He also checked to see if the Reindeer ate their food.

Then it was time to start opening gifts.

Daddy helped Reese.

He was so excited to get his nightlight.

Pretty much the only thing Reese cared about was the fruit squeezes in his stocking.  He LOVES them

We had fun having Christmas morning with our boys.  It was funny because Reese would just get up and walk around while we opened gifts.  It would stress Dane out.  I am sure Reese will be right there with Dane in the next year or so.
