It's been a bit since I updated about Day 1 and 2 of our New York trip. My external hard drive crashed and I took it to the Tech Department at our school district to get worked on. Then we didn't have school for a week because of snow, so I just got it back. I have lots to blog about!
Sunday morning we woke up a bit later, after being out until 2:00 a.m.. The city was quiet on a Sunday morning. We headed out of our apartment towards the Subway to go to Battery Park.

Ready to head out
Giving the subway a try for the first time
We didn't do too bad figuring it out!
We took the subway to Battery Park for our trip to the Statue of Liberty.
It was a chilly morning, but the sights on the trip were beautiful!
Headed to Ellis Island
View of the city on our way back
We took the subway again, from Battery Park to Little Italy.
I really liked Little Italy. It was charming and clean.
We went to Lombardi's, the first pizzeria, for lunch.
We walked around Little Italy for a while after our delicious lunch. We grabbed some dessert and then headed towards Chinatown.
Chinatown was interesting, but not my favorite place.
We didn't have plans for Sunday evening, so we just kind of walked around. It was neat to see different sights. We walked a lot!
Central Park at dusk.
It was amazing how busy the streets always were.
Trump Tower
St. Patrick's
We lit a candle in memory of Dad.
Sunday was a fun day and we saw so much! We ended the night at an Irish Pub for dinner and drinks.
