The Past Week

On the Monday before the 4th of July my mom, sister, niece, nephew, and the boys and I went to Faust Park. (I forgot to blog about it before!)  We played on the playground, walked over to the Butterfly House, and had a picnic lunch.

 After lunch we played a little bit and then headed home.  The boys and I were staying up in Kirkwood until evening because my mom was having everyone over for dinner.  Reese fell asleep in the car and Aunt Amy asked Dane if he wanted to go to Kirkwood Pool with her and the kids.  He was really excited to go to Aunt Amy's pool!

Dane was invited to a birthday party for one of his little friends from preschool and when we went to take him the mom said parents and siblings were welcome to stay.  It was a spiderman party so Spiderman came to visit.  Reese especially love it!

Dave was using the chainsaw and it was too loud for the boys.  (Dane's shorts got wet and when he went in to change them he came out without any shorts on!)

 Dane loved playing t-ball this summer.  One of his friends from preschool was on his team and he met a lot of other little friends.  Dave helped coach.  I think they both had a good time.

 Dane was so excited that Mama, Aunt Amy, Trey, and Delaney came to watch his last game.

To celebrate a great season Mama took Dane to Dairy Queen for ice cream!
