One day a few weeks ago (I am still catching up) we planned to go up to the pool, but it was kind of cool. We decided to pack a picnic lunch and head down the road to Hawn State Park.

It was perfect weather for a picnic and playing at the park so I was sure it would be packed. It turns out we were the only ones there. Several people pulled up while we were there, but they went hiking.
We packed a picnic lunch, so we ate first.
The playground was perfect. It was the perfect size for Dane to be able to climb and play.

Reese cracked me up because he would just look around and relax while he was swinging.
Dane decided to move to the bigger swing.
We had the stroller so we couldn't go far, but we took a little walk.
Dane loved running on the trails. We definitely need to come back and hike sometime.
Reese just relaxed and hung out, as usual.

Dane decided he wanted to climb the monkey bars, but needed Mommy's help.
This was the perfect picnic spot close to home.
We definitely plan to go back.
