Trey's Birthday Party!

Dane was so excited about Trey's Birthday Party!  I made the mistake of telling him about it when he got the invitation and he about drove me crazy asking constantly when he could go to the party.

I told him he would get to play ball with Trey and he said he had to make sure he wore his running shoes.

I was really wondering how much he would do once we got there.  Afterall he would be the only boy there that wasn't 7 years old.  I thought for sure he would stay by my side and not do much at all.  BOY WAS I WRONG!

He was actually supposed to be on the other team for Dodgeball, but he had to stick with Trey.

He hung by the wall at first.

He kind of checked things out and I know he didn't understand the rules of the Dodgeball Game.

Then he decided to join in.  It was funny because I think the other boys were afraid to get him out, so he was the last player on his team still in the game at one point.

He loved it!  He ran all over the field!

After a few games of Dodgeball the party moved to the inflatables.  These inflatables were pretty big, but he jumped right in and started climbing and sliding.

After the inflatables it was time for cupcakes and juice.

These boys had a lot of energy so instead of sitting and opening up presents they decided to go out onto the soccer field and play some more.

Uncle Darnel and another dad organized a soccer game.  One team took off their shirts so they could tell the teams apart.  This picture makes me laugh.  Dane whipped his shirt off right along with the other boys.  His little belly, his farmer's tan, and his diaper sticking out of the back was quite a sight!  Dane has never played soccer before, but he ran all over the field!

He had an absolute ball!  He asked Amy if he could come to Trey's party again next time.

We went straight from the sports club to my mom and dad's for birthday dinner.  May was a crazy, busy month, so we were celebrating all of the May and June birthdays that night.

Dane had one more cupcake to end his day!

He had a great time and was worn out!  He fell asleep on Mama and Papa's couch while watching TV with Trey!
