Happy First Birthday to Reese!

We were so excited to celebrate Reese's First Birthday!  With his birthday in October we planned a pumpkin party!  It turns out we had the perfect fall day to celebrate!  It was absolutely beautiful out!  We loved having all of our family and friends with us to celebrate!  It was a great day!

I love fall, so decorating was pretty easy!

Dave set up our fall decorations outside.

Jelly jars filled with a fall mix of m&ms, marshmallows, candy corn, raisins, and peanuts.

Everyone got to pick a pumpkin to take home.

Dave and Dane carved the "1" pumpkin for Reese.

I loved it because all of my fall decorations were up so I didn't have to do too much decorating.

We had chili and hotdogs, along with all the toppings, for dinner.  Plus we had pumpkin dip and apples and Caramel.

I always laugh when I take pictures of these boys.
Wild, but sweet little boys!

Our sweet little family!

Baby Trey came dressed in his pumpkin outfit for the party.

It was so beautiful outside.  Our neighborhood looked amazing this fall.

Dane was so, so, so excited about Reese's birthday.  On his actual birthday he would run up to him and pat him on the head or give him a big hug and yell, "Happy Birthday Reesey."  The day of the party he could hardly control himself.  He was so excited for his "friends" to get here and play with him.  He asked me all morning long when the party would start so Trey would be here.  The kids played outside a ton!

Delaney brought her sweet friend Rylee with her.  Dane loved her!  Her younger siblings are triplets, so she is used to playing with younger kids.

Getting some food!

Baseball time!  Dane's favorite!

Reese was teething the day of his party.  He had taken a long morning nap so I thought he would be good.  He played until right about the time the party started and then he couldn't take it anymore and fell asleep.  He had eaten lunch about 2 hours later than normal, so I let him sleep for an hour while we all ate.

Finally he got up for his birthday cake!

Getting ready to try it out!

Reese just kept looking at all of us as he ate.  He acted like it was so normal for him to be digging into a whole cake.

Looking at Daddy!

He finally decides to take a bite.

I took his cake and the tray away and he must have still been hungry because he ate off the bib.

As expected Reese didn't care much at all that he had presents.  Dane was such a good big brother.  He helped open Reese's presents.

Reese decides to peek in a bag.

Reese liked his very first tablet.

Most of our family hung out for a while after the "party" was over.
Dave built a fire and we headed outside to make smores.

It was such a fun day celebrating our little man!
I still can't believe he is a year old!
