Last Thursday afternoon we went to Kirkwood so Dane could go to Trey's birthday party with his friends. There was a huge accident on Hwy 55 so we were a little late, but Dane was so excited I was glad we were able to make it.

Dave had physical therapy Friday morning so we came home after the party. After therapy Dave brought the boys donuts for breakfast.
We got ready and went back to Kirkwood to spend the day with my mom and sisters to celebrate my parents 44th wedding anniversary. It's St. Louis's 250th birthday so there are 250 birthday cakes at spots around the city. We went on a cake hunt with the kids. Reese stayed with Dave for his nap.

After an afternoon full of cake hunting we all went and got ready for dinner out.
We had reservations at Billy G's on the patio. It was warm when we got there, but within 15-20 minutes the sun was behind the building, there was a little rain (but we were under cover) and it was a beautiful night!
Dinner was great and it was a fun night out.
Thanks to Taylor and Delaney for playing with the boys so the adults could have dinner!
