We had a fun, fun, fun 4th of July!
We went up to Kirkwood early Thursday morning.
Dane was so excited when he saw all of the flags at my mom and dad's house.
We went right over to the 4th of July parade in Webster.
Cousins hanging out before the parade started
My little family at the parade.
While waiting for the parade to start Dane and Claire took a walk with Aunt Katie and Uncle Tom.
Dane LOVES holidays and was so excited!
Daddy and his boys!
I love how serious Reese looks. He was really checking everything out.
I love how Dane has his arm around Reese in this picture.
The boys just had the best time!
Aunt Kara brought bags for the kids to collect the candy, beads, buttons, and stickers they handed out at the parade.
After the parade Daddy and Reese went back to Mama and Papa's so that Reese could take a nap. Dane and I went to Daily Bread for the Blueberry Festival. The first thing Dane did was get his face painted. While he got his face painted Aunt Amy got him a snowcone.
The Bubble Bus was there which is another one of Dane's favorites.
We went inside and Dane decorated a cookie. We iced it like a baseball.
After the Blueberry Festival we headed back to Mama and Papa's house. It was so nice out this year that we spent most of our time outside on the deck.
The boys eating dinner.
Playing bags
After dinner we went up to Kirkwood Park for the Freedom Festival. The boys had a blast. Lots of kids, playing, glow lights, snowcones, music, and fireworks!
Me and my sisters!
Mama bought all of the kids snowcones!
My mom and dad watched Dane and Claire play on the playground.
One of our friends had a big tarp on the field so we all hung out there.
Lots of wild fun for the kids!
Dane started out on Daddy's lap and I had Reese. Reese then went to Daddy and Dane went to Papa, then Mama. The boys loved the fireworks!
This boy loved 4th of July! It wore him out!
We had such a fun 4th of July with our family! The boys enjoyed every minute of it!
We had fun all weekend so I have a lot more pictures to look through and blog about.
