Last week when we spent the week in Kirkwood for Vacation Bible School Dave was hard at work putting together a surprise for the boys. We had told Dane we had a surprise for him and he was up for about 10 minutes on Saturday morning before he asked about it. We opened the blinds to the sliding glass door and the boys were so excited to see their new playset!

Saturday afternoon it rained a little bit so while Reese was napping Dane and Daddy played Chutes and Ladders.
Tuesday morning we had to get out of the house by 8:00 am because the cleaning lady was coming. It is just so much easier on her and me to have the little ones out of her way.
It was pouring down rain out. Dane headed out in his fireman raincoat.
We went to Festus McDonalds to eat breakfast.
After playing in the play area for a little while we went to run our errands.
We went to Lowes to pick up some supplies for some projects I have been wanting to do.
Tuesday afternoon it was still very rainy and wet out so we played trains for a while.
Wednesday morning I went out for my morning walk at 5:30 and when I got home about 7:30 I found two visitors in my bed.
Wednesday Dane had swimming lessons so we all went to the pool for a little bit.
Reese was reading a book before we left.

Reese was getting so tired swimming, but he wouldn't let go of the kickboard.
He didn't even make it from the neighborhood pool back to the house before falling asleep.
We are having a great 4th of July weekend! Can't believe it is already 4th of July!
