Reese's Baptism

Yesterday was sweet baby Reese's Baptism.  It was a beautiful day and we were so happy our family could be with us to help us celebrate.

Both of the boys were so happy!  Dane kept saying, "It is Reese's special day."
We were able to get a couple of pictures before heading to church.
They both looked so sweet!
Our family before heading to church.
It is a challenge to get both boys to look at the camera at the same time.
I love this picture of Reese looking up at Dane.
Our sweet boy!  He is wearing the same outfit Dane wore at his baptism...it is good we did it now or it would be too small!
Dane giving Reese hugs on his special day!
The church service was a bit different. It was Youth-Led Worship Sunday.

We kept Dane with us in church for the baptism. When Pastor Dave called us up Dane was just amazed. First, he could see all of the musical instruments and kept telling me, "I want to hear music mommy."
Dane got a little concerned when Dave handed Reese to the Pastor.
Reese was all smiles though!

As Pastor Dave baptized Reese, Dane kept saying, "What that man doing? What that man doing?"

Reese was so happy and relaxed!

After church we went to my mom and dad's for a little meal.

I had a couple of pictures of Reese in his Baptism outfit, so we framed them for the table.

Since I knew Reese was barely fitting in his Baptism outfit I wanted to find something to change him into after the Baptism that was a little more comfortable.

I found a stay at home mom in St. Louis that makes shirts.
I had matching shirts made for the boys.

Casual little tie shirts!

They were so cute!
Loving brothers!

Reese was so happy all day! He must have known it was all about him!
So smiley!
Even though it wasn't Dane's party he had a blast!
He looks simply exhausted here!
The Baptized boy was completely worn out!
