Girls Weekend in New York City!

Quite a while ago my mom, sisters, sister in law, and I planned a Girls Weekend to New York City.

Last weekend we headed out and could not have been more excited!

Dave dropped the six of us off at the airport Friday morning.

When you fly into New York it looks like you are landing in the water.
We flew Southwest and we had fun flight attendants.
We played a game on the plane.  Each row had a roll of toilet paper and the row that got it to the back first won a free adult beverage on the plane.  Amy and Tammy were in the row that won!

We got picked up at the airport and headed to our apartment.
We basically threw our stuff down and took off!  Katie has been to New York several times so she was our tour guide.  We headed towards Grand Central Station to check it out at rush hour.

A ton of people, all dressed in black, going every which way!

 Chrysler Building
The Citi Bikes that lined many streets
I took a picture of a fire truck for Dane.  It totally stressed me out when I would hear a firetruck.  The sirens would be blaring, the horn going nonstop, and a ton of traffic in front of it.

Katie showed us a special treat.  Baked by Melissa.  A tiny cupcake that was so delicious!  Lots of different flavors!
We then headed to Top of the Rock.
Rockefeller Center was so pretty with the lights, fountains, and flags.
The Ice Rink in Rockefeller Center

We decided to go up at night and the view was beautiful!

All of the girls at the Top of the Rock
We passed Radio City Music Hall on our way to Times Square.
We walked through Times Square, which was just crazy with the people and lights.
You can't really tell in this picture but it really looked like daylight there at 9:00 at night.

After Times Square it was about 9:00, so we headed to a late dinner.
After dinner we walked back to our apartment, hung out, and got ready to head out early Saturday.
