Christmas with the Evelsizers

Thursday afternoon we went to Dave's sister's house to celebrate Christmas with his side of the family. Mitchell was excited to see Dane, but Dane was a little shy when we got there.

He hid by me for a bit.
Mitchell just kept talking to him and trying to encourage him to look at his toys.

He eventually got down and played a bit. We had lunch and Dane sat and ate and warmed up to Mitchell a little more. By the time lunch was over Dane was ready to hang out.

We opened gifts.

Dane got a pop up tent.

He got several weeble toys.

He would take quite a while to open a big present.

He also enjoyed checking out Mitchell's presents.

Mitchell had a tool bench and Dane found a drill. He had a great time playing with it and Mitchell gave it to him to take home.

Daddy opened some coloring kits with him.

Dane was quite interested in Mitchell's coloring activity.

After lunch and presents we hung out for a bit and the boys played.

We were able to get a picture of the boys with the grandparents.
