Cold and Icy Days

Ste Gen called a second snow day on Friday due to the icy roads. Dave, Dane, and I were all at home and enjoyed the day just hanging out. Dane just runs and runs and plays and plays. He dumped all of the toys out of the basket, then climbed in.

Rudolph was on so he would stop and watch it on and off.
Sometimes he would curl up and hide in the basket.

Dane and Max are very, very slowly becoming better friends. Dane has always loved Max. Max on the other hand spent a lot of time on the back of the couch or on our bed trying to stay away from Dane. They are starting to play together now, but for brief periods. Max can only seem to handle Dane for a little while, then he goes to the safety zones on the couch or the bed.

One of Dane's favorite things to do is to feed Max. He will go get a few pieces of dog food out of Max's bowl and will lay on his belly and feed Max. Max actually seems to enjoy this.

Maybe he likes it that Dane is on his belly and not chasing him for once.
