Seven Months Already!

Reese is 7 months old today!

It is crazy for me to think about the next few months.  Tomorrow is the last day of school and summer vacation starts.  Summers always fly by and before I know it we will be heading back to school and Reese will be close to a year old.  Maybe for once this summer will crawl by.

Reese is sitting up for the most part now.  Every once in a while he will topple over and he isn't able to get back up on his own yet.  When he does topple he just moves his legs behind him and plays on his belly for a while.  He can move around pretty quickly by scooting or rolling all over the living room.  I know he wants to crawl so bad!
He loves to play with his toys on the floor.  Dane is so good about giving him toys to play with.  He is also fully entertained by Dane as well!  Dane is pretty successful at getting Reese to laugh quite loudly now, which I love to hear!
It seems so weird to be putting Reese to bed when it is still bright and sunny out now, but this little guy starts to melt about 7:30 p.m.  Thank goodness for room darkening curtains.  He always starts out on his back or side, but always rolls to his belly.
One of the highlights of the boys' month was when they started taking a bath together.  Reese still sits in his bath tub for two reasons....he is still working on sitting up a little better and Dane gets a little wild in the tub.  Once Reese sits up better we can get rid of his little tub inside the big tub!
Dane loves to give Reese a lot of bath toys to play with.  They both love this time!
I have to admit getting these boys in the tub, out of the tub, and in pjs at the same time is the most exhausting 30 minutes of the night.  I can usually count on someone crying because he is just too tired to hang on much longer, someone taking off running naked around the house (guess who that would be??), or water being absolutely everywhere by the time this 30 minutes is up!
Monday starts Reese's first summer home with mommy.  We have lots of summer plans and can't wait for all the fun!
