We first headed to church for the Easter Party. Mama went with Dane and I and we met Aunt Kara and Claire and the Frosts there. There was so much for the kids to do. They decorated sugar cookies, made necklaces, decorated bags for the Bunny Run (bags filled with treats are taken to those that have to work on Easter-Hospitals, Restaurants, Police, Firemen), got their faces painted, and participated in an Easter Sing a long.
It was then time for the Easter Egg Hunt. Since it was still wet outside some of the groups hunted inside. The 0-2 years group hunted in two classrooms so Mama, Kara, Claire, Dane and I headed that way.
Dane would snatch the eggs right up when I pointed to them
He was so excited to show me his eggs!
More eggs!
More eggs!
Checking out the eggs in his basket!
So fascinated by the Easter Bunny
Looks like they are having a serious conversation
Claire really did not like the Easter Bunny

Dane was so excited that Trey was there!
When we walked out of church it was sunny and starting to warm up so we figured we could go ahead with our plan to go to the Kirkwood Park Egg Hunt.
This Easter Bunny was decorated up a little more than the Easter Bunny at church.

Dane was checking her out!
(Can you tell from the next few pictures that his teeth were beginning to bother him?
He always sucks on lips when his teeth hurt.
It makes him look so sad.)
