Spring Break Begins!

Spring break started last Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. and it came at the perfect time! The weather has been beautiful! We were so excited about all of our time together and we have not been disappointed!

The Easter Bunny visited our house early. Dane got his gifts on Thursday morning. I found this adorable little basket and was so excited about it. Well, needless to say, the gifts I got for Dane were too big for the basket. So, there sits the basket, empty, next to his gifts. Good thing I plan to use this basket for many years to come or it would be a total waste of money!

I am guessing Dane doesn't want his picture taken.
Finally got him up!
I just had a second before he started climbing the sides!

Dave took Dane's swing out to the backyard right away and hung it up. The were swinging for a bit before we headed to St. Louis. He loves his swing!
Thursday afternoon we headed to St. Louis for the traditional egg dying at my Grandma's house. We have been doing this for soooo many years. Now she loves having her great grandchildren over! We ordered pizza and ate before we started the dying. It was a little bit crazier with two more little ones joining in the fun this year.

He is just waiting so patiently for me to pull the egg out of the dye.
Our other new egg dyer, Claire.
Wow! Just SOME of the eggs we dyed!

On Friday Amy, Katie, Mama, Kara, and I were all free. Amy and Katie had given me a gift certificate for a pedicure for my birthday. Mom had gotten a certificate for her birthday as well. We made appointments to get pedicures on Friday morning. Kara wasn't going to get one, so she volunteered to come to Mama's house and babysit Trey and Dane while we were gone.
Trey helped take care of the babies!

We were finished with our pedicures right about noon, so we went and grabbed Sub sandwiches and headed to the park. It was beautiful out! Claire and Dane loved the swings.
These two were so cute! The would look at each other as they were swinging.
Check out Claire's movie star glasses, and her hair!
Aunt Katie pushing her babies!
What a great start to our long weekend in St. Louis!
