Santa Comes to Lake Forest

Sunday afternoon Santa came to visit our neighborhood! Dane and I headed up to the Lake Forest Community Center and I was hoping for the best. When we got there the kids were coloring ornaments and waiting for Santa and Mrs. Claus to arrive. Dane's little friends Tyler (2 yrs) and Aiden (8 months old) Deters were there and Tyler colored Dane's ornaments for him.

When Santa got there they decided to start with the youngest first and that happened to be Dane! Dane flashed a couple of great smiles while he was sitting on Mrs. Claus's lap....Santa seemed a little reluctant to hold such a little guy, so Mrs. Claus grabbed him. Dane got a special gift from Santa and he flashed another smile as he held it.

After everyone saw Santa there was a Christmas sing a long with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Santa gave everyone some reindeer food to leave in their yard.

After everyone had cookies and chocolate milk we headed out and Dane was sound asleep!
