Saturday with Family

Our weekend plans started right away Friday. Friday night was my work Christmas Party. I picked Dane up from Sue's at 3:30 and headed up to Arnold to meet Aunt Amy so Dane could spend the night with her. Packing for even just one night away has become quite the event. My mom has bibs, diapers, wipes, a bouncy seat, bottles, and formula at her house and it still took me three bags to make sure Dane had everything he needed. He had his overnight bag, his diaper bag, and a bag of food (formula, cereal, and a vegetable). Dane is always entertained by Amy's kids while he is there. Aunt Amy and Uncle Darnel said he was so good. He went to bed at 8:00 and slept until 6:30, which is a major bonus for two people who haven't gotten up with a baby for several years.

St. Nick came to visit Dane at Mama's house. He got lots of good treats....Baby's First Christmas stocking, shirt, bib, and ornament, plus some books, and a Santa Key so he can be sure to get everything he deserves!

I headed up to St. Louis Saturday morning to meet everyone at my Grandma's house for cookie making. It was a great time and we got lots of cookies made.
Delaney had dancing practice so Papa picked her up and brought her to cookie making a little late. When he brought her in he hung out with the boys for a few minutes.
Mommy and Dane at cookie making
Claire was getting tired!
Dane loved to hang out and watch all the action.
Right now Trey is the little cookie monster that would eat everything we made if we let him. Dane was awfully excited about the cookies too.
Baking away!
Claire just loves Dane.
The boys with Aunt Tammy
Saturday evening after cookie making we headed over to my mom and dads to celebrate Aunt Tammy's birthday. We had dinner, ice cream cake, and opened presents. Then everyone hung out and played Wii.

Watching TV

Hanging out with Aunt Katie and Tom
It was a fun day! So exciting to think that when we head up there next weekend so I can finish some Christmas shopping I will be on Christmas break....16 days off!!!!
