Apple Picking

On Sunday, September 27th we headed to Eckerts for the day. We first met at McAllisters for lunch, then headed to Belleville. We had quite the group....Mama, Great Grandma Butler, the entire Frost Family, Aunt Kara, Claire, Aunt Katie, Dane, and me. It was a beautiful day...even a little warm. We took the tractor ride over to the orchards to start our picking. I had quite the load with my apple bag and Dane's infant carrier.

Of course once we got to the orchard Dane was ready to eat!

Kara and Claire picked apples for an apple pie.

The Frost Family picked the most apples by far. Aunt Katie assisted by climbing trees to gather some, which we later found out was not allowed. Aunt Amy had to set some limits.
Heading back after picking.
After we got back to the Country Store we had funnel cakes and soda and then headed home....hot and tired.
