Dane's Second Month

The weather was absolutely beautiful and the dr gave us the go ahead to go out more.
Highlights of the second month!
**First Smile (Aug 26th)
**Spent the day with Rhonda, Katherine, and Thomas Lynott (Sept. 3rd) Mommy and Dane with Rhonda and Thomas

**Labor Day BBQ at our house with Mama, Papa, Great Grandma Butler, Aunt Amy, Uncle Darnel, Taylor, Delaney, and Trey, Uncle TJ, Aunt Ashley, and Claire. (Sept. 5th)

**Trip to the Lake of the Ozarks to visit Aunt Tammy. It was a long trip because we wanted Dane to be comfortable, but we had a great time. Mommy did lots of shopping for Dane...he is set for a while! (Sept. 12th)

**First time in church (Sept. 13th)

**First ride on a train...well a little bitty train...with Mama, Papa, Aunt Amy, Uncle Darnel, Taylor, Delaney, Trey, and Mommy and Daddy. (Sept. 13th)



Had to eat while on the train! Trey let Dane borrow his train conductor's hat for a picture.

**First trip to the zoo with Aunt Amy, Trey, Aunt Kara, Claire, Mama, and Mommy. (Sept. 17th)

**With mommy off work we took LOTS of walks....sometimes two or three a day!!

**Dane is now eating 6 oz., every four hours, five times a day!!

**Dane is on a regular bedtime. He goes down between 8:30-9:00 and usually sleeps soundly until at least 3:00. At 3:00 we go in and calm him and he usually falls back to sleep until 5:30 or 6:00.

**6:00 AM is the new wake up time at our house on Saturdays and Sundays......but who can complain when you get to spend those early hours with such a precious baby boy!

**Dane's morning nap is like clockwork...his afternoon is more scattered.

**Dane is on a Eat, Play, Sleep schedule.

**Dane has moved up to size 1 diapers and is now wearing 0-3 month clothes.

**Dane loves his swing. He looks around and smiles, occasionally takes a nap.

**Dane loves music. He falls asleep to music and loves to lay in his pack and play or on his activity mat and look around and listen to music.

**Dane has noticed his crib soother. He loves the music and lights.

**Dane smiles bigger and bigger everyday!

**Dane looks for mommy when he hears her voice.

Dane's two month doctor appointment with Dr. Andersen (Who we absolutely love) was on September 21st. He was 11 lbs, 13 oz, and 23 inches. 50% all around! He was so happy and smiley for the dr...until he got 4 shots! She did give us the flu warning. Mommy and Daddy both got their flu shots and we keep the little guy covered up whenever we are out in public. No more visits to Mommy's school until after the flu season ends or once he is 6 months and can get his own flu shot.
